Found Doug walking down St Paul street dress shopping, saw his add in his studio. He returned my call almost immediately and we set up a date to meet with him. Great first impression. He did our engagement photo's about a month after giving deposit, they turned out fantastic we were very impressed. Our wedding was just this Saturday (April 13) he showed up on time, ready to work. We had so many compliments on him from our guests asking "how did you find this guy? he's awesome!!" saw a sneak peek of our photo's, everything turned out awesome! we are in love with them and our family and friends are too. cant wait to get our dvd to print them off! great guy and great price, very very affordable! we would definitely recommend him and use him again for anything coming up in the future! We hired Doug for our wedding photography in May 2009 on the recommendation of good friends of ours who had hired Doug a few years prior. From day one, he was personable and friendly and I'm still in touch with him today. I was really happy with Doug's honesty and willingness to work with us and our budget. He said that given the size of our wedding, it didn't make sense to buy an expensive photography package from him. When you're planning a wedding, it really helps when your vendors understand and don't try to up sell or pressure you into spending more than you should. I was really happy with the number of photos and the quality of the images, especially since we hadn't paid a fortune for it. I went back to see Doug almost a year later to order some prints from him and in a panic, had to order another CD of our photos when I thought I had misplaced ours. In both instances, he was quick to reply and prompt with his service. I would definitely recommend Doug for your special event photography, especially given his years of experience, the quality of his work and his honest and direct approach.

Very happy! We highly recommend Doug's talents for all your photography needs. Doug was referred to us by a family friend after he had taken such fantastic pics for her large scale wedding that we had attended in the states. We hired Doug for our own smaller family wedding and he proved to be an excellent choice. Our wedding and reception were on site at the Paletta Mansion in Burlington and we loved the efforts he took to include us with some spectacular Lake Ontario pics as well as some that captured the history of the mansion. The indoor pics were gorgeous, especially the individual group shots in the Grooms' room with the men and the Bridal party with the women upstairs in that gorgeous staging area. The pics of the girls in my party were stunning! Oh and the flower girls and ring bearer were so sweet! We loved that Doug fit in so well and that he didn't overwhelm the party with his requirements. A lot of people were in attendance and Doug took the time and went out of his way to accommodate and ensure that he captured our family and friends at the best of angles. It was a small scale private function however he was able to blend in well. My brother-in-law's wedding was multicultural which Doug also captured for us and was able to reflect with his skill that garden wedding beautifully. A collection of gorgeous pics were delivered! A wise choice for anyone requiring skill and talent for your photography needs while you enjoy affordable rates. Doug will excel with what he provides you, for certain!

I was recommended to Doug Wolters Photography by a friend who had amazing work done by him. I was married on March 15, 2013 and chose Doug to capture this special day for us. Not only did we receive a fantastic bundle deal for engagement and wedding photos, he was extremely professional the entire time. My own mother (who thinks every business in the world is ripping her off) came to me and apologized saying she was so incredibly happy with the work he did and how proud she was that I defended the idea of getting a professional photographer instead of having a friend take the pictures! I have know Doug for many years. Our first photo shoot was on location at our family cottage and he was amazing so we decided to use him again for a few family weddings. He is creative and uses location and props to his advantage. We did not want traditional wedding photos where the people all lined up, we wanted creative and unique photos that captured our personalities and the love we had for each other. I was very pleased with his work and have recommended him to many family and friend who most ended up using him. To this day, I still look back at our wedding as one of the most amazing days of our lives and Doug played a large part in preserving those memories..
